When in Rome...
Why visit?
"All roads lead to Rome'"...
The ancient city of Rome is one of the most known and historical cities of Italy. Not only is Rome the capitol of Italy, it once was the home of the Roman Empire. Rome is home to the most iconic places in Italia including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican City's Sistine Chapel.

Let's explore, the top three must see sites:
Roman Colosseum
The Colosseum is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Rome. This ancient arena also known as the 'Flavian Amphitheater' was home to many games, including gladiator fights to animal fights. This sight is a jaw-dropping spectacle you have to see to believe!
Trevi Fountain
Fontana di Trevi, also known as the Trevi Fountain is an iconic landmark in Italy. Not only has it been seen in Hollywood blockbuster films, but the legend it hold's is why many tourist flock to this fountain. It is said, if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the fountain you will return to Rome (I mean why wouldn't you want to return this magical city). Interesting fact: Over the course of a day the fountain collects almost $3,000 in wishes to return!
Vatican City
Located inside of Rome is the holy Vatican City. Within this country are many sites including the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica. Considered the most holy landmark in the Catholic Church, this city is filled with many visitors from all over the world every day. Almost every site here is astonishing, especially Michelangelo's paintings. In St.Peter's Basilica you immediately step inside the Pope's temple, I highly recommend!
Although these are my top three sites to explore while in Rome, there is so much more to see!
