You can visit the famous statue of David, and visit the Duomo in Florence. There is also gelato places you can go to for a snack if you need somewhere to chill for a little bit. The restaurants are good and contain a lot of classic italian cuisines.

Sight Seeing- You can find many things around Florence. Statues in the middle of the squares and a lovely walk from the train station to the main square.
Ponte Vecchio- The Ponte Vecchio is a stone closed spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River- in Florence, Italy, noted for still having shops built along it, as was once common. Butchers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewelers, art dealers and souvenir sellers

History- Florence was a centre of medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthies cities of that era.

The city is noted for its culture, Renaissance art and architecture and monuments. The city also contains numerous museums and art galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti, and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics. Due to Florence's artistic and architectural heritage, Forbes has ranked it as one of the most beautiful cities in the world
